R-Tech ISP offers Wireless Internet Services to both businesses and residences in rural underserved areas of Sonoma and Marin Counties. We are a small locally owned business, and have been providing internet services to the area for over 10-years. We started out as an owner-operated residential system serving a couple hundred accounts, and have grown to serve over 1,000 customer to date with a 24/7/365 Call Center for customer service and tech support.
We take pride in being one of the fastest and most reliable rural coverage providers in our area. That said, 2020 has been an unprecedented year for us as it has been for many. Most of us have taken to working and attending school remotely or from home and that has increased the traffic on our system insurmountably fast. We are taking steps to accommodate that growth, and streamline the operation of the system.
Beginning in February of 2021 we are implementing a new CRM and Network Monitoring System. This will allow our customers to access tools and features directly through a private customer portal. This will allow customers to review the status of their account, report outages and connectivity issues, correspond with both customer service and tech support representatives and update their account information including billing and payment details.
We have been working diligently over the last year to upgrade our eco-system to the latest versions of equipment and firmware. Some of the specific areas we upgraded include our backhaul, access point radios and power supply systems at the more remote sites.
We are still working on rebuilding our Network Server, and anticipate these upgrades to be complete by the close of 2021.
Terms of Service
Refund Policy: We are a subscription service, and due to the nature of radio frequency technology, we do not provide refunds, prorations or other compensation for less than optimal coverage. There are many unforeseen variables that effect wireless internet (radio waves), and as long as service has been operational within the billing cycle the monthly rates are due and payable per the user agreement executed at the time service is established.
Governing Law: These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of California.
Changes to Terms: You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time at this page. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.
